Abstract
This study focused on achieving sustainable community development through information analysis in the digital age. Information analysis refers to an act of scrutinizing, modelling and transmuting raw information into actionable knowledge in support of the decision-making process. The goals and objectives of community development activities in recent times despite technological potentials were obstructed as a result of the absence or dearth of proper information analysis. The importance of information analysis, constraints militating against information analysis, and steps adopted in analyzing information for the promotion of community development activities were discussed in this study. The study suggested among others that development practitioners at various levels of government should adequately partner with responsible and relevant community-based organizations (CBOs) for reliable information that will facilitate community development programmes and projects; and that sustainable data management systems for community development projects and programmes should be developed and implemented effectively.
